![]() ![]() Nothing enchanted here, a friend told me she had been immediately transported to the streets of china for a Chinese new years party?!!! We felt like we had been transported to a hellish nightmare. ![]() I was keen to get outside to see the part we had really come for so we hurried through and started the "enchanted" light journey. There was no time to stop and really enjoy them without feeling like you were holding others up, but thank goodness my 2 year old liked most of it. The music was too loud to hear the stories, the elves were terrifying, had strange badges on them like little chef and I am 2 years old, most things looked like they were dug out of a charity shop, why was the pink panther hanging off all the trains? A few of them were cute, the dancing penguins quite impressive but nothing had continuity or made sense, it really felt like being in a nightmare. We had rushed to be there for our ticket time but it turned out not to matter, and on entering the main building, we quickly realised it was just a load of old bric a brac muddled up and tossed in amongst the strangest collection of animatronic monstrosities. ![]() The entrance was misleadingly beautiful, with trees decadently lit up, some cute animatronic polar bears, even a nativity scene, and after a 5 hour drive home to Norfolk after Christmas, it was a welcome sight. The least enchanted light show I have ever seen, wishing we had saved our money and walked around the neighbourhood for 30 minutes. ![]()
